BFF 2014 Calendar

Our 2014 BFF of Ct Calendar will be available starting this Sunday, December 20, 2013. It is a remake of the popular 2008 version which depicted photos of Buddhist objects and inspirational art taken on our field trips and pilgrimages.

This calendar shows all of the Shin Buddhist holidays and many other major Buddhist holidays such as Vesak and Kuan Yin Day. We printed a limited number, a total of 25 copies. The cost will be $15 per calendar and will only be available at the Buddhist Faith Fellowship, on Sundays in Middletown.

Nembutsu Scroll

These beautiful Nembutsu scrolls have been an inspiration for millennia and express the love and understanding coming forth to human beings from the very source of the universe.

The scrolls are written in traditional Chinese and may be used for home decorations and altar pieces. The nembutsu means the Buddha Name, which in Japanese means “Namu Amida Butsu.”  In the English language, it may be translated as, “I entrust in the Ocean of Immeasurable Life and Light.”

We are grateful to Suzanne Grella, one of our BFF sangha members, who created these beautiful Nembutsu scrolls in a variety of colors/designs to benefit our community.

To order your scroll, please visit her dedicated web site at:
